Chairman
Kit is the founder and Chairman of County. A chartered accountant with 20 years’ experience in finance, he has combined his business life with a career in politics as a councillor and Deputy Mayor of London. He is married with three children.
Director and Company Secretary
Dawn is a Shareholder, Director and Deputy Managing Director. She joined the Company three years after its inception, and has well over 20 years experience in the finance industry. Dawn is responsible for the general operations of the company, including accounting and compliance. Well known to funders and customers alike, she brings rigour and exacting standards to County’s procedures, which have enhanced our reputation immeasurably.
When Dawn is out of the office, she can either be found at the side of a football pitch watching her son play, or planning her next cruise/kitchen.
Darren Shaw
Director
Darren joined the Management Team in July 2011. Having started his finance career with Forward Trust in 1994 he brings with him over 20 years’ experience in asset finance and has held key sales positions within Anglo Irish, British Linen and Close Asset, as well as a number of years running his own brokerage.
Darren is a keen cricketer and well known throughout the South Nottinghamshire Cricket League. He is an ECB Level 2 coach.
Joanne Stonier
Office Manager
Joanne is Dawn’s second right hand, working alongside and keeping our administration up to scratch. With County since 1999, she is responsible for compliance and control for all new business, cash receipts and invoicing. Always willing to help, she has become an important and respected member of the County family.
A secret headbanger, Joanne likes Heavy Rock and anything that involves ‘sweets’.
Mark Tingay
IT & Equipment Manager
A relative latecomer to the finance industry, Mark has been with the company for ten years. His HGV license comes in handy for his role assisting in our sales and recovery efforts and he is our main verification man. He also looks after our IT systems, Health & Safety and is our nominated Fire Officer and First Aider.
Mark is an animal lover and a keen steam enthusiast.
Amanda Vale
Administrator
Amanda started with County in November 2015 having previously worked as Accounts Assistant for a road recycling company and as a sales assistant in the retail sector.
A self-professed ‘crazy cat lady’ and polyglot, she speaks both French and Spanish fluently having spent part of her childhood living in France.
