County are proud to be sponsoring Tom Copson and the “Pedal for Protons Care and Hope” team on their incredible Lands End to John O’Groats challenge. The team are cycling more than a 1000 miles to raise money for three cancer charities that support children and families facing incredibly difficult circumstances.
The challenge is deeply personal to Tom and his family following his daughter’s cancer diagnosis in 2023. After major surgeries and specialist proton therapy treatment in Manchester, the family experienced first-hand the impact these charities have on patients and their loved ones during the toughest of times.
The ride is raising money for:
Hope – supporting cancer prevention and clinical trials.
Care – supporting Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Protons – supporting advanced proton therapy treatment.
