For some time now, we have wanted to streamline our organisation and rationalise the number of companies we operate within the group.
As you will know from running your own business, the burdens of compliance, cyber security and regulation mean that having too many companies in a group can be expensive.
Until recently we operated two main trading companies, one of which, County Business Finance Ltd, was a secondary book, on which we have not offered new lending for some time now, so we took the decision to close this company down and transfer its remaining book to our main, and well-known company, County Asset Finance Ltd.
Whilst undertaking these changes we also took the opportunity to close down a dormant company within the group, which had not traded for over a decade.
These changes mean we have increased capacity to support UK SME going forward and head into 2022 in great shape to continue our 26-year record of lending, profitability, and great service.
